f5s scrambled problems??

i have a new skybox f5s which works all fine at my house, but when I take round to mates house it just shows all channels as scrambled apart from fta, I tried connecting thru Ethernet and also wifi and still same issue,when donw thru wifi did show as connected and showd ip address,im really confused as to what can be problem,hope somebody can help thanks??? dhcp was on

when you move one of these to a different address with a different router they have a nasty habit of retaining the old IP address from the previous router. So when trying somewhere else you should go into the network menu switch DHCP off and then switch off the box, Turn the back back on again and same again Network - Switch DHCP back on again switch off and on again and it should have the new routers details

thanks for reply digicon,when I go to dhcp off and then aplly it says 'invalid aleternate dns'?? u recko thatcudbe the prolem? eve when i conncted thru wifi usb it said connected also,jus no channels cum up just shows scrambled and does not show mgcamd on bottom of info bar as normally does
