    Skybox F5S keeps reloading

    Hi,

I have had a skybox f5s running for over a week now with no problems. Since pressing active on the wifi interface the box reboots, as they do and is now stuck in a continual reload. Will reach 100 then reset?? Any tips?

Take all there connection out of the box and try and turn it on with just the power lead in the box that should work

If it doesn't boot up after leaving all night its looking like recovery method.

                Hi

Had a few issues the same but with F3s boxes somtimes its a faulty power lead not throwing out enough amps and just keeps reloading, also when you do a single sat search or update channels via usb if you do not delete the previous channel list the box gets to its maximum channel capacity and then just keeps reloading. If this is the same issue then the firmware needs takeing off and reloading back on however you may loose the gift unless you know the details.

My mate had this issue when putting a new box and cable in bedroom. I told him to take sat cable out and it stopped rebooting. So he then stripped back ends of cable properly, now it's fine

Hi, the box is now loading and freezing at L100 for a brief while. Any hints and tips at all, if i place a USB in the port will it recognise it and load? I can then add new firmware?

If sat cable is ok then time to check the power supply.

If it gets to L100 then keeps rebooting,
1st disconnect the sat cable then watch it reboot it may do it a few times it should then come on the channel it was last on, put sat cable back in picture should be on

ok its the feed you either have crossed poles or a break in the sat cable check all connections to the box take off the f type connectors cut back the cable at least 1 inch make sure the outer wires not touching the pole inner wire will be sweet seen it numerous times

as said in your other post

Hi All, i am just sitting with the box with power in and it is reloading. Is it worth plugging in a sat cable now to see if it decides to boot and also an ethernet cable?

It loads to 100, then start the process again??
