Skybox F5S 24/01/14 Firmware Sound Issue

Hi,
Strange issue which I hope someone will be able to help with. I recently updated by Libertview/Skybox F5S with the Firmware from the skybox.cc website released on the 22nd which has the new EPG. The issue I have found that about every 30 seconds (even on the FTA channels) the sound cuts out for a couple of seconds. I disconnected my hard drive and made sure all the PVR settings are turned off s suggested in other forums but didn't make a difference, I have since gone back to the last Libertview firmware and the sound is perfect. The issue i I miss the 7 day EPG. .

Anyone else having similar issues with sound on the F5S with the latest skybox firmware?

I have no issues with sound on mine so long as I have timeshift off in PVR settings.

I don't know if it would make a difference or if you didn't already do it but did you do the following before upgrading firmware:-

Backup everything (I mean everything) you need - channel list and other things
Delete channel list
Restore defaults
Reset box
upgrade firmware but ensure you select NO for keeping dbs and settings (see skybox.cc)
restore defaults again
upgrade by usb your channel list and anything else you need!!
turn off timeshift (if not already off)
restart box again

Thanks for your reply.I had actually resolved it before I saw your post, and you also gave the right answer. When I firmware upgraded I didn't select "select NO for keeping dbs and settings". Did this, now sorted. Cheers for that.
