You need to upgrade the firmware from SkyBox | SkyBox

I think I have the new firmware but only get whats on now and next I was told you could get a full listing and better layout like proper sky.

need a USB stick plugged in then update EPG in timer settings

What file do I need to download to put onto the USB?

Does the USB need to remain plugged in at all times in order to access this EPG?

Your help on this matter is much appreciated.

Yes, the Epg is installed onto your usb stick and therefore needs to be plugged in at all times to access it. The first time you may need to download your epg manually by entering the Epg and Time settings on your box, then navigate down to xmltv and press enter and then press the red button, you can also alter the settings to update automatically while in this setting. Also remember to alter the Epg and Time Setting to Internet otherwise the new 7 day epg will not display.

hi i have gone on the link above and downloaded the latest firmware and put in on a drive so when i come to a list that says add files to update witch one do i tick ?thanks stuart.

Once you have extracted the zip/rar file you should have a file that ends in .abs this is the file you upload to the box.
