Help - F3 out the box

    Just bought a new one.
    Is it a clone?!
on information the software reads 03/2013, but I cant scan for channels etc, half the menu options are greyed out such as "antenna setup" and Sky 28.2 isnt on the satellite list.

Worried and confused now can anyone point me in the right direction?
is it as simple as me just downloading the .abs file and uploading it onto the box via USB?

    many thanks!!!

Thanks mate. Its just that I seen the date being March 2013 and got worried as a friend has a much older software version but his works fine.
Im guessing this "software" we see in the info section is the same as what we call firmware right?

All running fine now lads but did I need to upload the abs file (which is far older than the one originaly on there...)
Or could I have got it all working by just uploading AJ channel list?

Latest Official F3 & F5 Firmware here 23/12/2013 do a Backup (Dump to USB) of everything before you install it just in case.

The channel list should have sorted it for you without the need for firmware. if it aint broke, don't try to fix it.
