S6000HD - solid red light

I was flashing a VIX image onto this box using USB method which was shipped with blackhole and for some reason it never took the new image and I now have the solid red light which not even the fan responding so obvioulsy something went badly wrong.

Now I've checked loads of posts and my next port of call was going to use a RS232 cable to force a flash on but I can't get the whole usb/rs232 dongle to work or assign a com port.

What's my other options ?

Have you tried reflashing it with the blackhole image that was on the box before?

Sometimes the newer images aren't compatible and maybe trying an older VIX image amy work.

Thanks for the reply. I've tries Blackhole Solo miage for 1.7.8 and 2.0.9 without any success

try a older version of the vix image, it may help and while flashing via usb try and be patient, till it starts to flash blue lights, that means its done and ready
