Skybox A3 Remote

Hello.The remote for the A3 is new and I cannot see an AUDIO button on the remote. On most channels theres option for standard or dolby, how would I switch audio ? also on interactive having various different audio options, I'm kind of lost how its changed.

Should I buy an older remote ?

Just to end, I've tested newer remotes on older STBs and the skip page up/down are opposite. I'd like to avoid that problem

On my F3, I can access the Audio stream through the Micro Panel (M/P button). It's the "Audio switch LR" icon.

I wonder what else you cannot do easily with that remote, as it's got 11 less buttons than the older types!

Thanks Hadron. I should have made clear I haven't got the STB yet. I was wondering what the remote was all about. What else does that M/P button hide ? Am I better off getting the V3 remote instead of this new one ?

I would get the one in your second link for ?3.93.

I have some of those remotes myself. I thought that I would stock up while they were selling so cheaply & they are working fine!

I also have the other type of remote (V3), but some of the buttons are very hard to read.

The Micro Panel has 14 various icons. I never use that button myself. I always use one of the direct buttons, or go through the normal menu.

No. I can see from the way I worded my post that you might think so. LOL.

What I meant was, I have tried the other trype of remote (V3) & found that some of the writing on the buttons is hard to read (white on light green). Apart from that they worked fine.

I said in another thread, that it's hard to see how that seller, selling the remotes for just ?3.93 with free postage can make any kind of profit!

I just noticed the v3 remote has the M/P button too. So is the v2, last linked ?3.93 remote the only one that has all or near enough all the functions on it? I personally like the style of v3 but can see why v2 is being advised

Your wording says it all "Can See" the curvy one just has white on a pale blue background which is useless

Both the V3 & the ?3.93 remote have the same buttons (including the M/P button).

I also prefer the look & feel of the V3 remote, but as mentioned, it's badly let down by the printing/colour on some of the buttons.

I have same remote on the M5, cant figure out how to rewind\forward video's on the youtube app, anyone found a way?

No. The F series will work with those remotes but not he X series.
