F3 skybox wont power on :(

Only had it a week. Was perfect. Now will not power on... feel like crying .

Seen a thread about rs232 etc...I dont have that cable nor does my laptop have that socket.

have you tried another power adaptor first

I did, before posting this, but turned out the one socket on the extension lead is faulty...schoolboy error.
