Question About Sky Box F5S and SKY+ Dish

Hello guys i have just bought a SKYBOX F5S with a Gift it hasn't arrived yet but just a few questions that i hope you could answer for me thanks!

    1. I have a sky + dish with two cables for the satellite is that ok? and how would i plug it in? because on the f5s box there is only one input and a loop input

    2. can i use a sky + dish with the sky box f5s?]

Thanks guys i am a newbie to these !

Yes the sky dish is ok to use with your box.
The f5s only needs one feed, and still works in HD

the sky + box has 2 tuners hence 2 inputs (one to record other to watch tv)
        F5s only has one tuner

Do not use the loop connector, use the other one for your connector. As has been mentioned, the box only uses one tuner, so only needs one connector.

Dont know what the best thing to suggest to you would be, but i would try connecting it directly to the router with a cat5 cable, and see if it connects. Don`t see any reason why it shouldn`t tho?

To be fair the wifi is a little sketchy at best, i would go down the route of Homeplugs, easily available at Argos etc.

No Offence dal13 but this is the most basic thing ever.... Honestly.

Put one of the home plug near the router and connect the rj45 cable to router & homeplug.
Then plug the other homeplug near the F5S and connect with RJ45 cable.

You may need to reboot the F5S and also the router. To get an IP address.
