firmware skybox F5s

regarding the firmware for the skybox F5s

Is there a way to make a copy of the default firmware on the box and copy it to a usb drive in case anything goes wrong after flashing a different firmware.

yes mate if its the same menu as the f3

menu/dump to usb/save as image or by each file( i did it by each file saves everything including the special bit)

I have a skybox 5S boxes, it has the latest firmware from ksybox.cc.
I love this device because of its simplicity, but there are a few things ought to be improved:

- When playing divx subtitles unfortunately not good ?UTF8?, bad of ????ő??? (hu lang) only "_"
- Using a USB hub to your media player does not appear in both HDD: uda1, udb1
- XMLEPG not automatically updated from the Internet, just by hand

Together with more than 10 skybox F5S is used, we'd love to support the development of skybox F5S firmware.
I really miss the DLNA or other network share for skybox Mediacenter.

Most of this is the answer: you have to take the linux dre@mbox with it makes the people you want, but it's a simple man too complicated.

I hope it does not stick out of the box also during this phase.
