Anyone else got this model and having slow responses changing channels, for the picture to appear I mean. Got a little lipsync issue on audio/picture too. I do have the latest firm loaded.

I found mine taking a little while to change channel when i had a plug in hard drive connected but not a usb powered hard drive, which was weird. Do yu know how to fast forward/ rewind recordings? I tried to watch something and pressed the arrow keys in the centre but it skiped like 15 mins! -
I have a USB thumb drive in it at the moment. Are you saying having an independently powered storage device gets rid of the slow response? The board can't handle it then

The M/P button/panel is annoying me. I'd like direct buttons. 7 day EPG is great. Picons too although could be updated

Im not too sure, thats just my experience. Although my usb hard drive wont record as it says it not powered enough so i have to record on my powered hard drive. It just takes the a3 longer to recognise it is pkugged in and lagged the other night. I'll try it again when i get home and see what happens.
The epg and picon is great, i dobt really use the m/p button, usually stick to ok and menu
Just wish i could suss out the fastforward, looks like i may have to get an older remote also!Comment

Also timer, why does the STB turn off when hitting the end time ? is that only a sleep function or is there a normal reminder function ?Comment

Got the remote this morning, the STB is responding well to it. Did you test drives mate?
Any ideas when a reminder function be added on instead of the useless frustrating timer where the STB turns off. I couldn't find an option to stop it turning off after the program had ended.Last edited by openup; 20 February, 2014, 16:18.Comment

It still takes the box a while to respond to my plugged in hard drive, i dunno why, maybe it's just my hard drive!
Haven't a clue about the box turning off after a recording, i've only recorded stuff during the night and my box was in standby before i went to bedComment

Hi mate. Cheers. Have you got any viewing issues? I'm seeing glitches and after glitches the picture stuttering there on in unless channels are switched. Firmware seems to have bugs and a build up of something or another is resulting in heavy CPU usage. Also audio levels suck, I have it set auto dolby d still my tele has volume set higher than my old STB. I dont have any real issye with glitching. Mine does the very odd time but the weather has been bad when it did glitch so i put it down to that. Haven't noticed any glitches this past few days, even with hd channels. I have to turn my volume up more than i would normally if i was just watxhing through my tv but as i've never had any other box i didnt really know that was an issue! LolComment
