hi lee here could some one help me under stand the firmware on the skybox.cc site this is all new to me probely a bit of a noob question but i see loads for f5s and f3s so what they all for do need to install them all or what like i siad i am new to this so any help would be nice thanks

Date Format is YYMMDD so the latest firmware is 140122 (22nd Jan 2014) firmware releases are updated with additional functionality i.e. 131217 had New EPG added. This is automatically included in later releases so always install the latest firmware. Do not use LAN Tool to Install always use Upgrade by USB. Always as standard take a Dump of existing Firmware and Files especially the secret one before upgrading.

thanks for reply nobby nutz as i am new to this so seeing all the different firmware got me confused so thanks for clearing that up anther thing nobby i now i am pain but my channels scramble every so often could it be the thing we cant talk about on ya and what is extable with the scrambling mines like every 20 mintes thanks

Quite right we can't discuss on here but this could be down to several things. Signal Quality (LNB), Box, Internet Speed, Wireless, Router etc but normally down to your friend. SyK have been playing around with .............................................. so I have heard. Annoying when it happens but only other option is rather expensive a Syk subscription.
