Skybox f5s
Hello, I have just bought a skyboxf5s and i am trying to set it up , the place where I got it from has been very good trying to give me info but I seem to have hit a wall, I have got it up and running as far as the menu screen but I have nothing to put on a memory stick to load on to the box. Could anyone tell me where I can get this info from. any help would be much appreciated. dajam

Does the display on the box show "nOCh"?
If so, the first thing to do is download a channel list from the stickies. There are 2 members who provide excellent channel lists (AJ & sattv5).
AJ's channel list is not in the same order as Sky, whereas sattv5's channel list is. -
Thankyou Hadron, yes the box does say "noch". In your opinion does it matter which list I download?Comment

Ok update I have put the channel list from sattv5 and the box is up and running
. Now can anyone tell me how to tune in the satellite in, also will I be able to then get the Sky channels.

Hi you should not have to "tune the satellite in" presuming you already have a sly tv or freesat dish fitted and alined correctly to (28.2 E) Go to menu-satellite set up, and make sure astra 2A is ticked.(little green tick press ok to select it).The channel list you installed on your box will have all the correct "tuning" information you need (transponders, polarization and frequency information)
As for picking up Sly TV channels, you will receive all the channels available in the channel list- i.e. the freeview ones,which you can watch, but the ones with an $ next to them will be scrambled unless you install a thing which we are not allowed to mention on this site.Ask the person you bought the box from I'm sure they will point you in the right direction

Thank for the reply, just checked and everything is as you said (I did wonder how I was getting channels) and I understand now about the other thing, Just contacted
the seller and am hoping they respond. Once again thank you.
