F5S Stuck on load after channel update.

Hi everyone, my friends F5s is stuck on load after an attempted channel update. Any ideas how/if this can be solved ? Hes give it to me to try and sort out, i know how to reflash it but ive read up a little and people are saying that i may need to back it up first, not too sure how to go about this. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Yeah mate like i said, i've done a little bit of reading on it, that post. Like i said also i already know how to reflash it. I just need to know if i can back up the box before i reflash it with it being dead/stuck on load. I don't mean to be ignorant mate just not too clued up on any of this .

If you can't get past Load you won't be able to backup "Dump" by USB as it's in the Menu's.

You need to do as P&D states first.

When you have the box backup and running in hindsight your mate would have been better doing this before he updated Channel List.
Plug in USB stick (FAT32 Format) advise on screen if recognised by box.
        Menu
        Tools
        Dump by USB
        Select Image.ABS
You can select single files ???am.cfg (Magic Bit) and TP Prog.dbs (Channel List) by Left /Right on Remote select files you want to Dump by Green Button.
        Scroll down to Start

Very similar to updating channel list as it's in the same Menu.
