    Skybox Upgrade By Network

    Evening All,

    Just a quick one. My understanding is that the upgrade by network part for the Skybox F5 is only for firmware.

    Wouldn't it be great if we could upgrade TP_PROG.dbs using this?

    Especially if you manage others boxes its easy to just call and say put in this IP etc..

    I can't find anywhere on the skybox website to contact the owner to suggest the idea but it can't be that hard to program.

    What's your thoughts?

      judging on the replies on the board here about upgrading by network, i wouldnt bother. Seems too many boxes get totally b0rked by doing it that way...

          It would if the list you wanted was available. (These boxes are used Worldwide)

          If you manage other boxes just send the TP_Prog file by email with a guide how to install it.

              What about attaching it onto the XML download then? That seems to be working fine
