F5 wont factory default

I have been having a number of issues with my F5 so i wanted to go back to factory default but it will not go back. It does say saving data but after reboot it is just the same and it has not gone back. Any help would be appreciated.

Probably easier to do a firmware flash to reset the whole lot

What do you mean by "not gone back"?

What are you looking at to see what has changed?

I would do as digicon says & flash new firmware.
