    Irritating Network Problem with F5

I have a very, very irritating issue.

I'm getting the F5 to connect to the internet via my Laptop. The F5 is connect by ehternet, and I have ICS enabled.

But I'm getting an irritating problem.

When I connect it up, it knocks my internet off on both the laptop and the Skybox. If I disconnect it, the network is restored and all is fine.

I was thinking of turning off DHCP on the router to see if that would work, but I'm not sure that would work.

    Any ideas?

ICS is very hit and miss I found and not used now.

Why can't you connect box directly to router using another ethernet port on your router?

In a totally different room fella. It's pissing me off.

I will eventually get some homeplugs or something, but at the moment, it's bread and water for the Skybox unfortunately.

Do you have a telephone point in room where you have laptop and the box? If so, is it not possible just move your router to this room?

I remember many, many years ago messing around trying to get ICS to work.
