Has anyone had any good experiences with a skybox wifi dongle on their f5? How consistent is the connection?

Why dont you buy a long ethernet cable upto 20 m less than ?15, homeplugs are expensive and with ethernet cable your always going to get a hard connection

I am currently running the wifi dongle and every now and then need to reboot the box to get a connection, I am thinking of going for the Home plugs from the above.

Ive both but never had problem with homeplugs that I use in my lounge and bedroom.
18 quid for a twin pack its better than having cable being run all over the house and I'm guessing that's better than a 50 ft run of Ethernet.

I'm using the Skybox wi-fi dongle without any problems. The box is about 10 feet from the router. Probably going to change it to a cable so I can use the USB slot for a HDD.

Either hard wire or use the homeplugs, much more stable. Wifi can play issues with these boxes.

I use the dongle that came with the box and have had no wifi issues with connectivity, the router is in the next room btw-havinmg said that using homeplugs would free up the usb socket instead of pulling in and out when adding channel updates etc

I'm using the official Sky Wireless on demand connecter which Sky sent me for free with an ethernet connection into my f5s.
I have the Sky wireless connector connected to a simple 3g mifi pointer and hardly ever get a problem wih it.
