New to Openbox/SkyBox

Hi,

I am planning on buying a new openbox/skybox. Few questions.

1. Does it always require an internet connection?
2. What is a image file and a channel list?
3. What is a Cccam.cfg (Clines)

you only use internet connection for youtube if you have it or for card sharing...
Image is a program that lets the box run, like what windows xp / 7 / 8 does for a pc.

We DO NOT discuss anything to do with (cccam)card sharing on this forum. So please dont ask or you will be banned.
