M3 Keeops Loading but wont switch on?

HI,

My Skybox M3 Loads and re loads etc, and wont switch on. Goes from1 - 100, then starts again 1 - 100? How do i fix this? Thanks

A short circuit in the LNB cable can cause this.

Does it still do it if you remove the LNB cable?

Not true I have had a standard Sky setup work with an LNB which immediately shorted an F5 and caused the loop. The loop problems are generally caused by LNB problems or copper part in coax touching metal and shorting, make sure copper in cable does not come above the top screw line on the coax.

It could also be caused by a failing power supply unit. The extra current drawn by the LNB when the box has finished booting could cause the PSU to trip & reboot the box.
