    slybox f3 no ip addy

ok so i have a f3 here was working on 28,2 east and while watching a movie bang! no internet connection. before anyone says check your u no what its not. ive tried upteen firmwares through usb,rs232 ect. the box works perfect apart from the lan feature although both lights are flashing. i cant get a connection via the lan tool either. i know these boxs are cheap crap but i would like to fix it and im just grasping at straws now to see if anyone has fixed the issue on theirs, regards mdt

Have you had a butchers in you're router settngs to see if its being blocked? Had that on a mates even though it worked at the beginning.
Think I looked in DHCP settings just to see If any ip conflicts.
They are cheap crap hence all the latest posts just lately though I did think the F3 was the better crap.

Another thing I don't suppose you're using homeplugs? Had a similar problem when homeplug was in a gang and wouldn't work so would also go direct with Ethernet to router.
I'm guessing you have tried these suggestions but you never know.

Im guessing you have tried a working ethernet cable?

If you have, do you have a ethernet tester tool.

If you have, connect to box see if all 8 cnnections work. Im guessing ethernet socket has gone

Have you tried to connect with a USB wifi dongle? Had a similar issue a while ago which turned out to be a faulty ethernet port and the box workd fine with usb dongle. Your near to me if you need a usb wifi.
