    GEO UK WORKING

    I posted earlier that i thought i had geo uk working but would like to apologize to anyone that i had,i was only going by the updated information on lyngsat,as i looked into the list with edtior tool i had noticed that the SID,VPID,APID was different from what lyngsat had published and a big thx for all that pointed out this mistake thx....

      Hi,
      I don't actually watch the affected channels but am curious how you solved the Geo one. I use Mediabox Editor myself and after examining both your fixed list and AJ's current list ( SD Adult version ), apart from the obvious different channel numbers, the only significant difference I can see is that they have a different PCR number. Yours is 2305 and AJ's is 2411. What does the PCR setting actually do and is this how you solved it? Thanks.

              Ah - so it's not fixed. And I assume the PCR setting that was used in the Geo UK channel is actually the one or very close to it for the Geo News channel.

                  Not over familiar with these crappy boxes but cant you get new frequency from kingofsat and scan it in?

                      In the case of baby tv, it has never worked on a F5/3S due to what I've been informed is a missing codec in the firmware. The frequencies are all correct as confirmed by KingofSat. With regards to GEO UK and Sony MAX I don't know whether these have ever worked as I have never watched them. It could be that they use the same codecs as baby tv or that they've recently changed to them. I'm unsure.

                              pcr setting for geo uk 2305 and pmt 258 geo tez pcr 2305 pmt 257....
