opening tv listing

hey guys im struggling to update my tv listings on f3 box. for some reason all of a sudden when I download a listing off site VLC automatically opens it. Its also a .bin file which im not sure it should be. Usually I download it and it can go straight on a memory stick to my box to update. But now I cant. Any help would be great cheers

TP_Prog should be a .DBS file looks like you have set your system to use VLC to automatically unzip files where you should be using WINRAR or WINZIP etc.

Where are you downloading your channel lists from?

Looks like you are downloading Openbox X5/Skybox F6 channel lists, which are in .bin format.
