sky dish setup on skybox f5s

Hi guys first of I set the skybox f5s up at my house as I already have one up and running 100%.I just changed from my box to the new f5s and installed everything and it was running 100%. I am from the tyne and wear area and I have sent the box to a friend who lives in Scotland.He has put up a new zone 2 dish with new lnb and cable.Put bbc1 hd on then pressed info 3 times to get the signal bars up.He has the dish perfectly square but when he tries moving the dish from left to right to line it up the signal strength does not go up. He used to have sky so the dish is in the right place,any help would be appreciated.

You say that he has moved the dish left & right, but what about the elevation? It may need moving up or down slightly.

Hi As well as checking the elevation also double check that LNB and cables are connected correctly and working . Also make sure you have correct frequencies .

Thanks guys it turned out he was moving the dish to fast instead of a touch at a time to give the lnb time to lock on so he now has 90% on signal intensity and 85% on signal quality on bbc one hd and all tightened up and all up and running,thanks guys.
