Missing channels info on XMLTV for Skybox F5s (ITV HD, BTSPORTS etc)

Hi all,

Im using Ajsat's channel list and quite a few channels dont get the epg from XMLTV. The picon's work though so the box does not what channel they are. BT Sports 1 and 2 and ITV HD are the main ones. Does anyone know how to fix this?

It's a known problem with the xmltv epg. You could try alternative transponders(frequencies) for these channels

Could you elaborate on that pls mate .

The likes of ITV run on different transponders/frequencies for things like regional variations and/or HD. Try another transponder/regional variation.

I use KingOfSat 28.2E and see if there is another transponder that likes of ITV is on (maybe a different region).

You then need to do a TP scan (mentioned elsewhere in forum).

Alternatively, if you're using AJ's list see if a regional ITV works (or even SD version).
