Skybox f5s no signal on all channels

    Hi all
my f5s was working fine but all of a sudden it's stopped working and displaying 'no signal' on all the channels including fta. Signal strength only shows 5% on receiver. But my other f5s works fine in same setup. Have tried factory reset, new firmware etc but still can't get it to work. Any suggestions?
    thanks in advance

The So called 'Gift' has no bearing on whether or not your Receiver will work, All receivers no matter what make or model should give you all the Free to Air channels if not then you either have a problem with the Dish/Lnb combination or your box is broken

Have you looked in installation to check if lnb is set to ON and not some how got switched to OFF.

Lnb is switched on. I checked the antenna setup on a working skybox and copied it over to the faulty one.noticed that on the faulty skybox the transponder changes from 11720 h 29500 to 10847 v 23000 even though I have set it to correct setting. There is no save option here to make sure it stays on 11720 :-(

The transponder setting shows the frequency of the channel that the box is tuned to, so it is constantly changing.

                  Thanks

I backed up the working receiver and settings and installed that on the faulty box . still no luck. Any more suggestions?

Its either the cable feed going in or the sat tuner in the box that's at fault...

                    Try this

                    1) turn the box completely off
                    2) remove the sat feed from back
                    3) re-insert sat feed
                    4) turn box back on....

Suppose u can check the feed from another working box?

I keep my original sky+ box connected up (Freeview channels) so I can check if I have a signal issue from time to time...also EPG

The cable feed is fine as have tested a working receiver. so i guess the issue is with the sat tuner :-(
