help with no signal on F5's

    Hi,

Well I just about got everything setup and working great until the last few days, at first I started getting a no signal message on most of the channels. I checked and got AJ's latest channel list and updated but this didnt reslove the issue. I have since reset the box to factory settings, done a blind scan of satellite and loaded the channel list back in but still getting a no signal message. The channels that are working are 74-79% signal strength. When I did the blind scan there where a few transponders that failed (about 6).

    Does anyone have any ideas???

    Many Thanks

    Tony

Check that your sat cable has become loose from the your box or the LNB.

Do you have any other satellite receivers connected to the same dish?

it could be the tuner thermistor has gone. its a small yellow capasitor on the motherboard. u can change it or just wrap a thin wire round it. it will bring bak all ur no signal channels back

            Hi

Checked all the cables and all fine. Noticed though only lost the channels during day. Think it maybe lnb so ordered another dish. Think i still have the mk1 dish and lnb.
