tried aj channel list no good tried other 1 that worked for about 4 hrs then no signal again ?

Hi. How can it be the Internet if you dont even get the FTA channels??. Why dont you try a different box to see if its your receiver thats playing up. If second box plays up as well then check dish/LNB/cables are all ok and secured etc.

thanks. its on again now for the moment !!!. have noticed the green light goes off when this happends what thats green light for ?

Hi. Not familiar with your type of receiver but the green light is probably your ON/OFF indicator. If this light is going off then you may have a short somewhere within the receiver . Thats why if possible try a second receiver to see what results you get.

not sure what light is for its not the power light. its the 1 in the middle of the box
