skybox f3 how to turn off subtitles

hi i have got a skybox f3 and i have got subtitles on the screen which i cant seem to get rid of
i have tried the subtitle button on the remote but it just says select language

Try re-booting your box, for example on BBC 1 HD i get three options, eng(t), eng(d) and Off.

Press Subtitle Button on Remote comes up with "eng (T)" and "OFF" use Up & Down arrows to select "OFF" and then press OK if it's the same as the F3S which I assume it will be.
