Skybox F5s Recording

I've got a skybox F5s and I'm trying to figure out how to record things. Can someone tell me how to record something?

im planning on recording the Sunday supplement on sky sports of a Sunday morning as I'm working all day Sunday.

how can I do this? What is the best USB or hard drive to do this?

i use a wd passport 500gb but u can use anything,i started of with an 8gb usb stick that done the job,format it to fat32 and of you go,to record go throu epg to the program you want and press record.to watch back when done go to
1.multimedia
2.media player
3.scroll down to record
4.go right onto saved program and press play

Whats the quality like on the WD passport?

how can I set the recording to start at say 9 o'clock on a Sunday morning on sky sports one?

i find the wd brilliant ive got loads of films on there aswell ive put on there you can watch from media player aswell the f5s media seems to play any file avi mvk mp4 ect ect

Is it easy to set Manual recordings? Say I wanted to record something on sky sports at a set time

jm sorry keep it to ntfs i had to format to fat32 because i use it on other things,slayer i put a chanel list on your post

I disagree, it should be formatted to FAT32 otherwise the Skybox will not recognise it.

ive just checked with my other wd passport and ntfs also works with f5s it might be different for other hd.slayer just click on the last post you put on forum asking for f5s help and the link will be there,click on it and use winrar

Hi thanks for my Chanel list when I got my F5s box Ebay he told me there is no EPG for them
do you have one that works so I can see what's on over 7 days etc and record
