limit cannot record

Was working fine until yesterday, 2tb hard drive seagate mains powered ntfs format. Also won't download epg update to it anymore? Should I re format it?

I have had the limit error once or twice in the past. I just unplugged the hard drive from the box & plugged it in again & it worked.

A week or 2 ago I couldn't update the EPG, so I connected the drive to my pc to have a look. I deleted the 2 files, 21.fci & 21.fpg. When reconnected to the box, the EPG updated.

I can only assume that one of the 2 files had corrupted, stopping the update.

Any idea how to reformat the hard drive?

You can format it with windows mate

does it not need to be fat32 for the skybox ?

Managed to get it working, copied files from usb stick to hard drive and seems to work. Only thing different is I haven't installed files for picon. Maybe they were causing conflict?
