    Skybox f5s SCART output

I have just set up a Skybox f5s. The output via the SCART socket is very dark. Composite is worst, and unusable in daylight. RGB is also bad. It isn't possible to fully compensate with the brightness setting.

Is this a weakness of these boxes, or have I got a dud?

I have tried on 2 TVs and with 2 cables. HDMI output is good, but not an option on the TV in question.

when i first set mine up i had the same problem with a dark picture on the scart output as the initial scan tuned it to every channel it could find tv and radio, so i just rescanned it using a single sat search for tv channels only using a blind scan which now gives me a good pictures on both hdmi and scart as one of the tvs i use to watch programmes is fed with a audio/video sender and the picture is good using scart.

go into menu/system setup/tv system/ and on the video output change it to RGB. the video YUV is for HDMI. for scart its RGB.
