Hopefully someone can help I have a Libertview F3s which I am assured is the same as a skybox???
My Skybox seemed to work ok-ish with a wifi dongle and a tether to my mobile this one dont seem as friendly,
so to make life easier I bought a g1rs GPRS modem for it, unfortunately although the red light on the modem lights up my box keeps saying no GPRS device found?
I Have tried various firmware with little success and cant seem to get AP connection with the WIFI except very rarely even though the laptop is working fine. (This is via a tether.)
Is the Libertview a Skybox? most of the skybox firmware seems compatible or should I change boxes?
I Have been happy with both skybox and libertview functionality via a wired connection but what I really need is a reliable link via a mobile dongle (My wifi is mobile as well do to where we live.)
I Cannot get a hardwired internet service at present so any help would be greatly appreciated.
I Install aerials and Satellite for a living and have done or 25+yrs so I will do my best to help anyone else with a question and would really appreciate some help with this problem.
