f5 channel list = dead box

hi everyone
I have 2 skyboxes f5 and f5s I was updating the channel list with ajs list on the f5 and I got stuck on the load screen. I then done it on the f5s(stupid I know) and the same thing happened. I was doing a bit of reading and it seems that a few ppl have been affected by this.
luckily I have both boxes up and running again using the reflash tool. so I am wondering is there a problem with the channel list or the software on the boxes. I haven't tried it again. I see that aj has a channel list for a different box would that have caused the boxes to freeze up if I used that by mistake thanks in advance

where did you get the list from his website? sounds like a currupt file. normally you dont get any issues with his channel lists downloaded from his site direct.

stick to ajs official site i have never had a problem from there.

RU using LAN Tool to Upgrade or USB ?

stick to ajs official site i have never had a problem from there.

And there is absolutely nothing wrong with the channel lists he uploads here either, Most problems are cause by USER ERROR

AJ does a channel list for the X5/F6 box as well, but that is a .bin file. I assume that if you tried to install that file, it wouldn't be recognised.

ok so I took ajs channel list from his site and the box is stuck on load again I will try sky list next is anyone else having this problem

I tried sattv5 channel list and its working no problem on both boxes the f5 and f5s
