    Aligning my satalite dish!

Hi guys, I've got a f5s box and a satellite dish. Is there anyway I can align my dish without a meter using the f5s box? Also what are the required settings needed for uk sky?

    Thanks

Put aj's latest channel list on then select bbc hd, out the volume on high then go to the dish and slowly move it till you hear the sound on the channel. Once you've done that move it up or down till you get a good signal level (easier if you have someone inside shouting to you)
That's what I done but it's a pain in the ass.
For general direction look at neighbours dishes

I had a go once with an app on an iPhone which was a pain as there was a big tree in the way
Think the meter is a better option and you can always sell on again.

Thanks for the replys guys. I've managed to align my dish to about 75% quality and it's okay but now and again the channels scramble. Do you think my dish needs to be aligned better to stop this? I thought 75% was good but probably should get a meter to get it higher!

          Thanks

You should be able to get a better signal than this and it should stop pixellation of channels. I assume you don't have anything in line of sight of dish. Good cabling and connections?

There are houses in the line if sight but I live on a road full of terrace houses and every other sky dish along the road is at the same height and pointing the same way so I don't think that's the problem!

On bbc1, the signal strength is 81% and the picture is fine, it's just most of the other channels and around 75% and they are the ones with the problem!

It really is minute movements either way to fine tune. Always best with a meter as has been said but can be done with a little patience.
