    Some channels showing no signal

Hello guys, I've got a skybox f5s which I've had for close to a month. It has been working fine and some channels did have issues but nothing a channel list update couldn't fix but yesterday afternoon I noticed that I am getting a lot of channels showing the blue no signal sign such as the channel 5 hd, sky news hd, the sky sports hd and sd channels except for f1 channel which is fine. There are a lot more with the same problem. I've added the latest channel list but no luck.

I will be grateful if someone could share some info of how I can resolve this.

    Thank you

    Jay

Do you have any other satellite boxes connected to the same LNB?

Some transponders are weaker than others, & during cloudy weather may not be received at all. I wonder if your dish needs slight realignment?

Thank you for your reply. I got back home about an hour ago, I've turned the box on now and everything seems okay now, fingers crossed it stays that way.
It seems strange as to why it is working now and was not yesterday and earlier today, hope someone can share some info on this.

In regards to your post, this is the the only reciever I've got connected to my lnb. I'm not sure about the dish alignment as I have never had a signal problem before or never had to move my dish before.

      Thanks again

      Jay

Here we go again, looks I spoke too soon!

The exact same problem and I can't seem to find out what is causing it.

          Is it raining? or windy?
Mine needed slight re-adjustment as the signal would drop for some transponders if the weather was bad.....

also.... make sure its the only box on your LNB. Others can suck the strength out of an already weaker signal

          Other than that... no idea

I have just added a f5s box to the bedroom which is also having the same problems with no signal,my old f3 downstairs as been flawless for 3 years,it seems the f5s only struggle with this issue if I put a f3 upstairs I guarantee I wont have signal problems, basically since the f3s/f5s were released with the 7 day epg theres been nothing but problems with signal to channels and epg problems, buy a f3 or f5 jay forget the 7 day guide and youle be up and running, the dish being slighty out will not cause a second box to not work correctly its the box itself which is the problem its hit and miss with f5s.s
