Clone box

Just bought a Openbox v5s and tried to update channel list and it does not update how can i tell if the box is a clone. Please reply in none techie language please

What do you mean when you say "...it does not update..."? What actually happens?

The name of the file must be TP_PROG.dbs (either upper or lower case), otherwise it won't be recognised.
