Hello brainboxes,

Needs a little help

I have a F5s box, I think its a clone.

some channels started only having audio over the last few weeks, so looking at all the info seems like a firmware update was needed.

Tried to use the .cc firmware over USB and crash, box locked up

used my RS232 cable, to try and flash the little bugger, but it has not worked, the flash software told me success, but all i get on the display now is '8' on the 3rd segment on the front display when the power is connected, tried to reflash but still no good?

Any suggestions?

it worked, an old image and using the older loader software. boom back on line, not sure if I can solve the channel sound no image issue though

Nice one, try this, backup your firmware and TP_Prog.dbs then delete all your channels, then do a single sat blind scan this will get all the channels from the sat itself and rule out a corrupt channel list database. If the audio problems still continue then you could try a clone firmware from one of the following;
yojiatech.com
bi-union.com
hddvbsw.com
