sky f5 constant loop

im having a problem with my fathers box its in a constant loop gets to 100 the starts over again,what I have noticed is my own box has skybox logo on it an updated new chanel list fine,but my fathers box has lib@rtview logo on it,ive been searching for a constant loop solution but noticed a few posts about clones an just thinking is it a clone,any help woulb be great thanks,

Ive seen this twice before. Once when there was a short in the Satellite cable from the dish. Once that was fixed the box booted no problem. The other time I saw it happen was when the person was using the wrong power supply. They plugged the router power jack into the F5 DC input and it went into a loop as you described. Check these two things out first and failing that, then you should look at recovering the box. Easy enough to do and has all the instructions on this site on other threads.

thank you,didn even think it would be the sat feed as I used my skyhd box feed to test the box but had a little fiddle an all ok thanks once again

How did you actually manage to fix this? I've got the same problem which I could maybe fix the same way but it's not clear what you did. Thanks.

Disconnect your Sat Coax Cable and see if box boots up OK. If it does check the connector on the coax or better still remake the connection.
