thanks for the quick reply, ive just gone and bought a rs232 lead to usb, going to see if I can bring this box back to life myself, but thanks again for the advice

Hi iam getting a stb memory error, when trying to programme this sky box, any body knows what this is thanks

A lot of people try with USB and didn't work but good luck with it

Hey thanks for that BrunoJ after a lot of messing about and the wife moaning I have managed to get this box up and running after many attempts I kept getting the stb memory error, now the trick that worked for me was this you must run the config file first then run the Eproom upgrade tool then load the software, and trust me I have been at this for nearly 10 hours, so alls good Kids are happy and now I can have awell deserved pint
