Upgrade by USB

I am hoping somebody might be able to help... I downloaded AJs list in the form of "TP_PROG.dbs" file and placed it directly on the root of my USB memory stick. Connected it to my box, went to System -> Upgrade by USB. File path is set to "uda" but no file is being detected. I do not have an option to change "file type" as such. What am I missing?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Try re-formatting USB stick as fat32.

Sorry, forgot to mention, formatting as FAT32 was the first thing I did.

One thing I am unsure about is actually what type of box do I have!?

The fron of the box just displays - Amiko SHD8140 CX E

Is there something via one of the menus which will tell me if it is an "Openbox"?

I think the "Amiko SHD8140 CX E" will give you a big clue as to what type of box you have...
AJ's list not suitable for this box.

Thanks for your suggestion but that was one of the things I already tried. I compared the DBS file and another ABS file I found by opening them in NOTEPAD and they appeared to be very similar. However, if I just rename DBS to ABS, it fails to upload.

I suspect there is a setting within the file which needs to be tweaked to get it working properly?
