recent TP update

have updated 2 f5s boxes 2day and i have used ajs recent tp update and on both boxes they are now stuck on load and nothing else so that tells me i need the null modem cable which to my suprise none of my local pc outlets do not stock so i have ordered 1.it just seems weird that they have both gone down at the same time,now i updated many times so it isnt as if i dont no what im doing.so i have checked if i have done anything different and the only thing i have done different is when i extracted the tp update from winrar i dragged it out of winrar and put it on as a shortcut instead of just extracting in2 my files.now im not sure if thats the issue but wont be doing it that way again just in case but i dont think it would matter.plus also it could be a isue with my usb stick which im going 2 check out.as any1 ad the same sort of issue with more than one box at the same time well the more i ponder on this something straight forwd will pop up.

I am presuming you used the same USB on both boxes? That is probably why you had this issue as I have noticed on a few occasions the file does not always download properly. Sometimes I will download and copy it onto a USB and will get the message 'file mismatch' when installing. I will then re-download and copy it over again and then it will work fine. Could be my USB however now that I think about it

yes i used the the same usb so have changed that before i update anymore and i have downloaded the TP list direct from ajs site so dont need to extract so hopefully its ruled out the 2 issues which i presume it could be but time will tell when i do the rest .

so how do you cure the load problem??? i have the same issue but i used 2 different usb sticks one to dump and one with new prog channel update
