    Box turns on and freezes?

So uploaded a Cline, all fine I thought, box rebooted, turns on, channel comes on, freezes 10 seconds later on channel and thats as far as I can get. Cant press anything on remote, rebooting does the same, network tool also doesn't work. Any ideas?

OK pulling my hair out here, I managed to stop it freezing by removing the LNB input, so it came on and said no signal. All good. Went into network tool reflashed firmware, did a scan, finished the scan went to a channel froze again. I installed a motor today and I've been trying to set it up but this is whats happening since I installed motor, something is not right somewhere.

EDIT, Yep after playing around with the box as soon as LNB is connected the box locks up. Works fine if LNB is not connected. Any ideas?

I am starting to think this box does not handle motorised very well.

do you have box set to use usals on the motor side, trun motor off and see if it stays on then, check ur f-connectors too..

Ok, this morning, changed all Fplugs, reset motor, reset receiver, entered coordinates in USALS, selected Astra 2, drove there no problems signal and quality both over 80%, did a scan, found all it could, exited to view channel, remote unresponsive, 10 seconds later freeze. Think the box is ****ed.

Has this only happened since installing the motor?

I was wondering if you might have the same problem as the posters in this thread, due to a corrupt file left behind when updating by LAN:-

The solution was found from post 65 onwards.

It was working with the motor all be it I hadn't lined up right. I then loaded on my things we can't discuss, box rebooted and froze. That's how it started. Lines all removed and reset but same problem.

Looked at that post, you might be onto something, time to have a read

Shame that threads closed as that is the exact problem I am having, caused by uploading something via the lan tool, the cure seems to be download files, delete all out of them and upload them, problem I have is my files are already blank.

Problem has been solved. Well until I broke it again but now I know how to fix it. Got all working up until the point where I transfer my .cfg file over and it broke again, so a problem with some of my info in that file shall we say is causing this to bugger up

All up and running, Would you believe my box doesn't like something beginning the first letter of Clock? But does like something begging with the first letter of Nest? Thats the issue thats buggered this up
