Yes that what im saying if these boxes atm can not handle the changes and theres no fix as yet, then its very easily too see they are only going to bring new boxes out too make it worth while for them. I.E costs them lot for someone to crack it, so they have too pay that person some how, thats where the new boxes come into play. They then sell the new boxes and pay the chap who cracked it for them plus make a few quid besides.There will be no fix at all for the old boxes and why should there be.

yup new fix new box, cant see for the life of me ANYONE would buy a new box at the moment to be honest , but then again linux boxes are able to be easily modded thats the whole point...Comment

thats why they are open source, and if and when there is any fix,they will
still work, the only thing is it could be many years before these channels are open again
and as i said before do you really think there is'nt backup encryption versions in place

that's wrong in theory the Linux platform should cope with the new encryption I have a feeling sky have jumped before thinking and this could be a very costly mistake once people crack this new encryption, hopefully it will hurt but all we can do is hopeComment

The NDS encryption has never been so called 'Cracked' and probably never will be, what did happen was a loophole was found that allowed the Official Card to be shall we say distributed.
A truly 'Cracked' 'Hacked' encryption system does not rely on any official STB or card system to be used.

I cant say ive missed the HD to be honest. As long as i can still watch all the channels im not going to complain. If i get 6 months out of this then im still saving money for 6 months. I didnt expect it to be long term anyway.Comment

I have been having some sleepless nights working to sort hd channels and I can confirm no 1 will able to crack it, there is a way to do it and a very easy way, simple solution in the near future will be some 1 will have to run the legit bus with the original s*y car.Tools owned: Hammer, Chisel, Crowbar, Punch, Chainsaw, Cutter and Brain!!!
