Hello, I am wondering if anyone can help me out or guide me as to how to resolve my problem. The satellite cable comes straight from dish into a 4 way splitter as shown174351685_4_wa_satellite_TV_splitter_s.jpgFrom this I take 2 feeds to the sky+ box, then one more feed to my skybox f5s in my bedroom. Now the problem is, when sky+ is turned on I lose most channels on my F5s box, apart from channel 5 and a few others. When i change the channel on the skybox f5s for example to sky sports it then throws of sky+ and comes up on the screen saying no signal. When i turn off the LNB power on the skybox f5s channel 5, BBC 4 and other channels work, Sky sports does not work and most of the other pay to view ones do not work. Would a no signal fix, fix this or is their another problem as I dont really seem to understand what is going on. Also When i disconnect the satellite inputs into my sky+ box all channels on my skybox f5s work, and when i turn off my skybox f5s all channels work on my sky+ box. But i want both boxes working at the same time.

OH Dear! for one you cannot use a so called 'passive' splitter on a satellite fed it does not work correctly, You need direct feeds from the LNB to each receiver you have.
ie: 2 feeds direct from LNB to Official Sly + receiver and 1 feed direct from LNB to F5.

You should be well versed in connecting your boxes now as you posted on another forum the same question which has been well answered and acknowledged by your good self---[this post will save other members from repeating answers that you are now aware of]
