Openbox v5s ?

Hi ,I need some help , Ive got a pansonic tv , Blue ray player and panny surround system all connected by HDMi cable and I used to have sly connected via HDMI now ive took away my sly and replaced with Openbox v5s , my tv remote would control all my panny stuff through the Viera link but since I connected the other box I loose all my control of tv and surround cant even turn volume up on surround and have to turn my surround system on by hand and switch it off by the same , If I take out HDMI for the Openbox everything is back to normal any ideas????

you found the solution its the cheap chinese clone receiver you are using, Looks very much like its Viera compatible

Hi m8, Its a Orignal Openbox v5s and not a clone , Does this mean its not compatable to my set up ??

your setup relys on a modified version of HDMI-CEC which Panasonic named Viera, what i meant by 'Clone' they are all made in china so unless someone knows they support some form of the HDMI-CEC specification it will not work. I did read a similar story with compatibility issues with the Xbox One which again uses a similar standard.
