Sky F3 not updating channel list

Hello, i tried updating my channel list to the latest one on ajsats web site but when i go to upgrade by usb and write it, it doesnt seem to be writing to the box. I reset the box and it comes up with no channels, i even tried going back to an older channel list to no avail. Does any body now how i can fix this ?

When you have uploaded , you must switch box off and then switch it back on for you to see the new chanels

Format the memory stick in the F3 then add your channel list.

ill try formatting the memory stick, ive turned it on/off several times and no channels have came on. It seems a bit odd when i update the channel list it takes a matter of 2 seconds to write the channel list to the box where as before it takes any where from 30 secs onwards

Hi,

I had the same problem I found and uploaded new firmware and it worked. Took me awhile to find the right one though.

Check that the name of the file on the memory stick is TP_PROG.dbs (without any numbers after it).

If the file name is called anything else, then it won't be recognised.

Channel lists on my boxes usually take 10 seconds to install. If it only takes a second or 2, then it has failed. Pressing the info button afterwards would tell you this.
