    my f5s wont boot up

    hi all
can i ask a question about my m8ts f5s box not working, have been on forum for ages looking for a solution
the box locked up had to switch it off at mains to restart, when it restarts, the usual happens, gets to 100%, blue slybox screen then black screen, with just ch number showing on the box only, that's it. I need Help please guys.

Also is does it mean he has been messing about with it, as I normally update it for him if and when it's required.

      Hi P&D
have tried and read all through the threads and posts, it keeps saying to turn off box at the switch on the back of the box, when ready to flash box, on the F5S there is no on and off switch at the back, if I power down then switch back on the box reboots rather than switching on and off, doing my head in now. Heeeelp. Pleaseeeeee

Connect up null modem cable between pc and box----plug power to box---open program-----when program says reset target then pull out power on back of box----count to 10 put power plug back in-----you should now see "done" on program screen r/h side----wait for new program screen to appear and follow instructions----if mismatch or wrong file appears then repeat from scratch using different file----reat until you locate a file that the box likes and loads.

Hmm...so it appears to load normally as you get a channel number on the box display. Does the box respond to the remote if you change channel?

If you are using the HDMI connector, try the scart or phono (RCA) connectors to see if you get a picture on the TV.
