skybox f3 loses picture but keeps sound

    Good Evening all

Last couple of days my skybox f3 has started to lose its picture, the screen goes black, but we still get the sound.

    Im on software version 3601HD_23_01_2013_0F1C.

I have had the box about a year now and this has just startd happening.

    Any ideas????

    Thanks

      Hi Mickzer

I had a look at that thread and followed the link to

      SkyBox | SkyBox

      Clicked on the SKYBOX F5/F3/M3,

But last update is showing 23/12/2013.

Just thought with only having problem a few days this update would be out of date kind of thing.

Should i just install the update, Channel list and see how it goes???

      thanks

Sorry, I read your first post as F3s.
The above link only fixes this problem with F3s and F5s
Are you sure it's a F3s you have?
I would try updating to the latest channel list by AJ or Sattv5 from the stickies at the top of this forum.
        Sorry about that.

        mickzer.

Hi Check your tv is not playing up. A friend of mine had similar problems which turned out to be a faulty HDMI connection in tv - if possible try it on a different tv and also check HDMI cable not faulty. Hope this helps you.

            Regards.

I will swap round with HDMI ports tomorrow. Needs a good clean behind the TV so might do that as well

              Thanks
