After restart box doesn't work for ages

After I switch my box on, it shows $ for ages and I have to keep restarting the box to let channels work again. Why is this?

It's either your internet or (more likely) that which we cannot discus because of the rules...

Sounds like a DHCP problem, ensure in your box's network settings this is set to on. Or if using WiFi to connect to your router try using a LAN cable. Or if already using a LAN cable, if possible try another cable.
